For Invisalign in the West Midlands, Stourbridge Dental & Implant Clinic is a centre of excellence, offering a free consultation to check your suitability for this type of treatment.
The Invisalign treatment uses the latest 3D imaging technology to create a series of removable, comfortable and invisible aligners which will gently straighten your teeth, leaving you with a perfect smile.
Specifically developed to provide a completely discrete option to straightening your teeth, the Invisalign process uses no metal brackets or wires, the clear aligners are comfortable and fit in easily to your every day life.
We are often told by our clients that orthodontic treatment provided by us has significantly improved their quality of life. Watch Georgie’s story.
The procedure involves wearing a series of aligners that will gradually move your teeth to create a straighter more aesthetically pleasing smile. Each aligner is worn for roughly two weeks at a time before moving on to the next aligner, times can vary from patient to patient. Each aligner is slightly different to the previous one and gently applies more pressure to teeth that need to be straightened.
You will need to wear your aligners day and night to achieve the best results. If they are not worn consistently your teeth will begin to relapse to their original position and your treatment time will dramatically increase.
You should only remove your aligners for:
The time it takes for Invisalign to straighten your teeth is entirely case dependant. Typically you will go through 18-36 aligners for your upper and lower arches, which will take approximately 9 to 18 months.
Visits to the clinic will be required every 4 to 6 weeks to check the progress of the treatment and supply you with your next series of aligners.
Our Invisalign in West Midlands is suitable for both teenage and adult patients and is particularly popular because of the very discrete nature of the treatment.
Once your teeth have been straightened by the aligners we offer whitening and re-contouring treatments as part of the Invisalign package. However, patients will need to be over 18 for the whitening procedure.
