Damon braces straighten the crowns and roots of your teeth using a strong but gentle pressure fixed system. This is much more comfortable than a traditional brace as it does not require excessive tightening, but still gives fantastic results. With Damon braces you can achieve your dream smile much faster than conventional orthodontic treatments and generally avoid the need to have any teeth extracted.

Damon braces are best suited to correcting:

There are two types of Damon brace; the original metal Damon brace and Damon clear. Both of these systems produce the perfect broad smile that you deserve. The Treatment Process:
As with all orthodontic treatments the procedure begins with a free treatment consultation to ensure that you are suitable for Damon braces and answer any questions you might have about the process. If Damon braces are right for you then we will begin by taking impressions of your teeth, x rays and clinical photographs. On the next visit to us we will fit the Damon brace to your teeth and ensure you are happy with all aspects of the treatment. After this we will need to see you every 4 to 6 weeks to check the progress of the treatment and make any adjustments that may be required. Depending on how severe your dental problems are the Damon braces treatment can last between 9 and 24 months.
Once your teeth have aligned to create a perfect broad smile we will remove the braces and provide you with a retainer to maintain your new smile. At Stourbridge Dental & Implant Clinic we offer removable and bonded retainers which are included in the cost of your treatment plan.
